Transport your Tadpole Recumbent, D Trike, or Handcycle with Ease

The Easy Load Tray uses the transporting Vehicle’s 2” receiver hitch. It lays out flat to load your trike or handcycle from either side with two ramps. Three ramps are available if desired. There are two wheel chocks on the outside wheel trays and tie down straps on all three wheel trays. It folds vertically when unloaded therefore it is not required to remove the Tray when the trike or handcycle is not loaded.

Carries one tadpole trike, D trike, CatTrike 559, or handcycle outside the transporting vehicle.

Using a ramp to load your recumbent bike onto your car offers several advantages:

1. Ease of Loading: Ramps provide a gradual incline, making it easier to push or roll your recumbent bike onto the tray compared to lifting it directly. This reduces physical strain and the risk of injury during the loading process.

2. Protection of Bike and Car: Ramps typically have a smooth surface, which helps prevent scratches or damage to both your recumbent bike and your car during loading and unloading. This is especially important for expensive or delicate bikes and cars.

3. Independence and Convenience: With a ramp, you can load and unload your recumbent bike without requiring assistance from others. This is particularly advantageous if you frequently transport your bike alone or in a situation where help may not be readily available. 

The Standard Easy Load Tray System (ELT)

• One Receiver Hitch Insert
• One Ramp Support “T”
• Two 5’ Ramps with Ramp Extensions Four Ramp Spacers and the necessary hardware to install the RHI and “T” on a trike transporting vehicle.
• Folds vertically when not loaded
• ELT is lightweight and easy to handle at approximately 36 lbs
• Wheel Chocks and Receiver Hitch Insert are made from steel
• Wheel Chocks can be placed on either the left or right side to facilitate loading from either side
• Maxium payload is 85 lbs
• Trike transporting vehicles' 2” receiver hitch must have a ground clearance of 16”
• Trike transporting vehicles without ground clearance of 16”- A riser is required, and the riser must have a second Hitch Tite to secure it from moving
• 2" Receiver needed for transporting vehicle

Note:

• This item is not suitable for use with large motor homes due to the distance from the rear axle to the vehicle receiver hitch box.
